Congressman Steve Chabot, SBA Columbus District Director Rick Garcia and African American Chamber of Cincinnati President and CEO Eric Kearney attended a minority small business development event on Aug. 2, 2017 at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. During the “Bridges to Success” roundtable with minority-owned small businesses, both Chabot and Garcia addressed questions from the 90 participants ranging from government contracting certifications, access to capital and other challenges that small businesses face.

Other small business resources, including MORTAR , HCDC, the City of Cincinnati, Minority Business Assistance Center, Metro, Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority and the African American Chamber gathered at the event to provide panels on topics including social media and attracting and training the right workforce.
