MORTAR, after helping nearly 180 Cincinnati entrepreneurs, wins national SBA competition

Cincinnati's MORTAR, the accelerator born in Over-the-Rhine to help entrepreneurial residents rise with their neighborhood, won a national Small Business Administration contest. MORTAR, for the second year in a row, competed with other accelerators across the nation and won the U.S. SBA's fourth Growth Accelerator Fund competition. It was one of 20 winners nationwide, which entitles it to a cash prize of $50,000.
