We’ve all been there: saying something with good intent, only to realize it was received differently than we expected. In the workplace, the gap between intent and impact can shape trust, morale, and collaboration.

While our intentions may be positive, the impact of our words holds more weight. A well-meaning comment can come across as dismissive, and constructive feedback can feel like criticism if not delivered thoughtfully. This is why communication isn’t just about WHAT we say, but HOW we say it.
