Our desire is to spread the important message of keeping GO(O)D Company and how that will allow you to defeat the odds. A brand that everyone could connect to and pushed not only a positive message but one that was needed.

What toppings are on a perfect pizza? Pepperoni…

Why does the work that MORTAR is doing in our communities matter? The work that MORTAR does in our communities is extremely important because they are not only educating entrepreneurs on how to run a successful business, but they provide the connections and tools that are needed.

If you could only listen to ONE musician/artist/band for the rest of your life, who would that be? Why?
Sade. Her music is timeless, thought-provoking, calming and positive.

Thinking about what you’ve learned on your entrepreneurial journey, if you could go back in time to the day you started your business & tell yourself ONE thing, what would you say to yourself?
Stay on top of your finances!!

Share your thoughts on MORTAR’s concept of “Building businesses. Transforming Cities.”
I believe it can be life changing to those who are on board with this concept. This is something that is able to transform cities and build a bridge between (black) business owners and consumers.
