Words.
Too many of them can drive a man insane. Not enough of them can make a man confused.
Words.
The truth mixed with a lie can lead a man down a wrong path. Lies mixed with lies can leave a man lost in his
own way.
Words.
Yes! The Cliff Notes version: precise; to the point; directional words. No more, no less. No ring around the rosey
words. No pocket full of toesy words. No ashes to ashes and dust to dust words.
No drifting words. No going astray words. No fluffy, puffy, words. No non-climatic words.
Give me impactful words. Dramatic words. Words that can change my life. Words that can change my mood.
Moving words. Directional words. Words that have meaning. Soulful words.
Words are all I need and the last thing I want – all at the same time.
Give me your words. Words from your heart. Words that you’ve thought about. Words deeply considered.
Not your fast-talking words – or your quick, and in a hurry words. Not your lying, callous, thoughtless words
But your redeeming words. Your healing words. Your encouraging words. Your righteous words.
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it
may minister grace unto the hearers.” – Ephesians 4:29 KJV
