Our “10 for 10” series is a monthly community Happy Hour in celebration of MORTAR’s 10th anniversary! As part of this celebration, we’ll be curating 10 special events featuring 10 Fireside chats with community members who’ve been pivotal to the story and growth of MORTAR over the past 10 years.
May is officially MORTAR’s anniversary month. We are thrilled to announce that we will be celebrating this momentous occasion on May 15th by bringing together all three MORTAR founders – Allen Woods, Derrick Braziel, and Billy Thomas!
Our fireside chat kicks off at 6:30 pm. Hear about their journies as entrepreneurs, how their collective vision for MORTAR came to be, and their continued passion for community building. Derrick and Billy will share their experiences as members of MORTAR’s Board and in their respective successful ventures, with Billy Thomas as Co-Founder of Cincy Nice and Derrick Braziel, the owner of Pata Roja Taqueria. It’s going to be a conversation you won’t want to miss! We’ll close out the night with a toast and cupcakes to wish MORTAR a happy 10 years!
We’ll also be hosting tours of our new MORTAR HQ (currently under construction) before and during this event! If you would like to sign up for a tour, please select the time slot you would like as an add-on when reserving your event ticket On Eventbrite. Tour spots are limited, so be sure to only select this option if you can make it, or let us know if your plans change! Tour groups will begin at Esoteric, and walk together to the site across the street.
